Amex Employee
In order to have access to Amex Employee cards, you will first need to have an Amex Business card. You can apply either as a sole proprietor or through an LLC.
While you can only have 99 employee cards, they do not merchant lock anywhere and depending on the card you have, you can have no preset spending limit as you would with other card sources.
Supported Sites
Currently Amex Employee cards work on every site. This includes the following:
Supreme ✅
Footsites ✅ - Can be shared across each Footsite.
Yeezy Supply ✅
Adidas ✅
Nike ✅
Shopify ✅
Shoe Palace ✅
Finish Line/JD Sports US ✅ - one card can be shared between both sites.
Billing Profile Guidelines
Name: any name can be used.
Address: line 1 and 2 of address can be anything.
Zip Code: some sites allow any zip code to be used. If it does not work when using a different zip code, then it has to match what is registered to your card. Supreme is strict on zip code matching, while other sites such as Yeezy Supply have allowed a mismatching zip code.
How to Enroll for Amex Business Card
1. In order to have Amex Employee cards, first you will need to either own or apply for an Amex Business card.
You can find a list of business cards here.
Make sure that the card you select is eligible for employee cards. You should see it in the feature list of the card.
Scroll down to the benefits section of the card and then click the Expense Management Tool dropdown to see if it has employee cards.
Note that Amex offers both charge cards and credit cards. The most popular choice for a business card is a charge card over a typical credit card. You can learn more about the difference between a charge and credit card here. I would highly recommend to apply for one of the charge cards listed below over the credit cards.
Visit the following lists below for a list of each type of card.
Charge Cards - Platinum, Gold, Plum, Green
Note that for Platinum and Gold cards, you can request Green Employee cards at a $0 fee.

How to Create Amex Employee Cards
1. Head to the Amex site.
2. Log into your account. Then under account, go to the Employee Controls tab.
3. Click the Add Employee Card button.
4. Fill in the required information. First Name, Last Name and Name On Card are mandatory fields to fill in. I would advise to use your real name as you will need to use your social security number to verify the cards once they come in the mail. You can use random billing names for your bot profiles just fine just like any other card in existence.
Once you have added your information in for one card, click the Add Employee button to create the next employee card. You can fill in the information for up to 5 employee cards at a time.
5. After creating up to 5 employee cards, click the Agree & Submit Application button at the bottom of the application page.
6. Shortly after, you will receive an email stating your employee card application has been approved.
7. Repeat steps 3-5 to continue creating more employee cards. Remember that you are allowed up to 99 employee cards.
8. Employee cards are physical cards that will be mailed to you. This means that you will receive a lot of mail from American Express when requesting cards.
9. After receiving the cards in the mail, you will need to activate each card individually. You can click this link to get started.
10. Enter the 15 digit card number and the 4 digit card ID on the front of the card.
11. If you set these cards up under your name, click the option to confirm it for yourself.
12. Fill in the date of birth and social security number of the cardholder.
13. Your employee card is now ready for use. Repeat this process for all of your other employee cards.
Merchant Locks
There are no merchant locks. You can reuse the card anywhere you want.
Card Creation Limit
Amex allows you to make up to 99 employee cards. If you go over this limit, they will remind you that you cannot have more than that.
