Target

Supported Bots

  • Shikari

  • Hayha

  • SWFTiOS

  • Refract

  • StellarAIO

Profiles

Name

  • Random first and last name

Address

  • You will want to utilize a variety of jigs to determine what is working best for yourself.

  • Below are some methods used in the past with success. Replace xx and yy with random characters. It is best to also experiment with other jigs and see what works best for you, as you can jig fairly hard and Target can still fulfill the order.

    • 123 xx Test Street

    • Xx 123 Test Street

    • 123 test xx Street

    • 123 test street xx

    • xx yy 123 test street

    • 123 xx yy test street

    • 123 test street xx yy

  • You can try lesser forms of j!gs by playing around with your street abbreviations and random line 2 - i.e. street to st, etc.

  • Target does ban addresses so you'll want to j!g for your profiles.

  • Do not share address j!gs accross accounts. Use a unique j!g per account.

Email

  • It is recommended to use real emails for Target.

  • Catchalls often result in a higher rate of cancels.

Cards

  • Some cards that work include:

    • American Express Business/Employee Cards

    • Amex Extend

    • Capital One Eno (Visa and MC)

    • Privacy (Visa and MC)

    • Revolut

    • Slash

    • Stripe Issuing

    • Tradeshift

  • Do not share the same card across multiple accounts as this can get them flagged.

  • Consoles are typically not Red Card exclusive, so you'll be able to run non red cards for these.

  • For Red Card, you have the choice of either a debit or credit card. Keep in mind the credit cart will do a credit check when applying. The debit card functions similar to Privacy when you spend money on it.

  • You can add up to 5 authorized users per Target Red Card, giving you a total of 6.

    • You can do this by logging onto your RedCard account and clicking settings & help on the top → Add Cardholder → then fill out the requested info. You can use your own info for the 5 authorized users.

Phone Number

  • Real area code, random phone number

Accounts

  • Accounts are required for all purchases.

  • An account can only be ran for one SKU. Running multiple items under a Target account will get the account locked.

  • Some sports cards are Target Red Card exclusive, meaning you can only purchase those using a Red Card.

  • Account age and activity seem to help with cancellation rates.

  • Target can flag accounts for many reasons, such as for a suspected reseller account.

  • Target does keep track and is able to cross reference accounts if information is shared and new accounts sharing information with a banned account will likely result in instant cancellations it is highly recommended to use unique information for every aspect of your profiles.

  • Target can lock your account when running for a product that's pulled, long durations, etc., and it's entirely possible to have accounts locked before an item actually drops.

  • Some tools exist such as AYCD and Kalevala that can generate accounts and automatically reset passwords.

Proxies

  • ISP are recommended over residential proxies for Target due to speed.

  • Recently Target has started implementing some form of proxy bans on IP addresses thay have flagged. Keep this in mind especially if you are running for items 24/7, as you may be better off not running all day to preserve your proxy quality.

  • Do not run more than one task per proxy - 1:1 ratio at a minimum.

Delays

  • Delays will vary depending on the bot and mode you are running. Check with your bot to see what they recommend.

Start Times

  • Tasks should be started when the product page loads. This will help to lessen account locks prior to the actual drop.

  • It is best not to run tasks 24/7 in the meantime due to Target's recent proxy flags they have started doing, as well as to avoid account locks from running for too long.

Cancels

  • Target cancels orders heavily and can be for various reasons.

  • Bot checkout flow plays a huge role in Target cancels. If the bot is flagged by Target, it can result in instant cancels.

  • Target flags accounts as reseller and even addresses, which can result in instant cancels. Exceeding allowed quantity limits also plays a role.

  • Bots can show the cancellation reason after hitting through. You may see an item demand cancellation reason, which is similar in a sense to the Adyen fraud score you'd see on sites like YS and Footsites (Target does not use Adyen, but something called ThreatMetrix I believe). They have certain score thresholds required from an order's characteristics for it to stick, which is a combination of things such as your account, billing profile and bot checkout flow. If this score is below that cutoff point, it can result in an instantly cancelled order.

  • Order history and using accounts that are established seem to help some with improving order stick rate. Some people buy items less than $1 to build up accounts. Returning them may negate the benefit of this. Please don't buy food without the intention of picking it up as it'll go bad and wasted.

  • Using Target Red Cards for orders sometimes seems to help some with getting orders to stick.
