Walmart

Supported Bots

  • Shikari

  • Hayha

  • Refract

  • SWFTiOS

  • StellarAIO

Profiles

Name

  • Random First, Real Last Name

Address

  • Address needs to be jigged

  • Best methods include the following:

  • Walmart does not like certain address jigs, such as using symbols in your address, or using 9 digit zip code.

  • Recommended not to reuse address jigs across accounts/profiles.

Card

  • Most cards will work for Walmart, including:

    • American Express Business/Employee Cards

    • Amex Extend

    • Capital One Eno (Visa and MC)

    • Privacy (Visa and MC) - Note: Sometimes Walmart will place an authorization charge when adding a card to an account, which Privacy can block after a few charges to prevent abuse.

    • Revolut

    • Slash

    • Stripe Issuing

    • Tradeshift

  • Recommended to do a 1:1 account to card ratio.

Phone Number

  • Random phone number is fine

Duplicate Profiles

  • Recommended to use a unique profile per account/order if possible

Accounts

  • Accounts are required for Consoles and Sports Cards.

  • Walmart has rolled out their Walmart+ program, which is a paid subscription. In the past it was required for console drops only, but recently has not been enforced due to the decline in console resell.

  • Some bots have implemented support for accounts to automatically purchase Walmart+ when the account is generated and cancelling it for you right away.

  • Walmart frequently cancels orders for consoles to the same address after 2, so it's not recommended to purchase too many memberships if they are going to the same house.

  • Aged accounts do not seem to help with cancellations.

  • Accounts shouldn't be shared across multiple bots.

  • Since carts are shared across the account, it is not advised to run more than one task per account.

  • Most bots have the option to automatically generate accounts for you. However, it is recommended to have accounts ready to go when running for console drops, as lately Walmart has made it very difficult to generate new accounts during a console restock. Some bots log accounts created for you, so you can always store the accounts in a separate document and use those to create your profiles beforehand.

  • You can also use an account gen tool to make Walmart accounts if needed:

    • AYCD

    • Kalevala Utility

Monitor Inputs

  • Bots will use a combination of SKU and OfferID, OfferID only or direct link.

  • SKU can be found at the end of a product link.

    • Example - https://www.walmart.com/ip/blaze/165545420. The SKU is 165545420.

  • The OfferID can be grabbed from release channels or monitors in AM.

  • If a price check is required, you can typically price it $15 higher than the MSRP listed on their site when sold from Walmart directly. Be sure to use one if needed to avoid third party pricing on popular items.

Proxies

  • The ability for a proxy to work will vary depending on how PX settings are (their proxy protection system) and your bots PX solution.

  • For console and sports cards drops, ISP will typically not work.

  • It is highly recommended to stick to residential proxies.

Queue

  • Walmart has implemented a queue on their website for console and sports cards restocks. Bots do not seem to have a way to bypass this currently and will need to sit through queue in order to hit.

  • The site tends to die heavily once queue goes up, so you will need to let your tasks run for a few minutes sometimes before they will be able to queue up.

Delays

  • Delay will vary based on the bot you are running. For most bots you can run a delay of 1500-2500 however during an active restock.

  • If running 24/7, consider running at least a minimum of 4000 - 5000 delay. Adjust delay as needed so you don't get permanently blocked by PX.

Captchas

  • Walmart uses PX captchas.

  • This captcha can be solved in bots either through Press & Hold captcha or reCaptcha v2. The method to choose will vary by bot.

  • Third party captcha solving services such as Capmonster will die heavily during drops, so if your bot has a Press & Hold solution that works well for captchas on Walmart, it may be best to run this method instead. However, sometimes Press & Hold may not be reliable and break, so keep this in mind.

Start Times

  • The time to start will vary based on the bot you're using.

  • If you are using autogenerating for accounts prior to drop, you should start tasks within 15-30 mins before while PX security is lower and tasks will be able to generate accounts more easily. This is best if your bot pauses tasks until queue goes live.

  • If you already have accounts and your bot can pause tasks until queue goes live, then feel free to start within 10-15 mins before and pause until drop.

  • Some bots will require you to manually start tasks once queue goes up. I would not recommend to autogenerate accounts in this case as it will be extremely difficult to do so as the site will be dead and high proxy protection enabled.

  • Sports cards typically will drop at around 9 PM EST on Wednesdays/Thursdays, but has also dropped randomly on different days too. You can run these types of restocks on ISP as long as your bot has a working PX solution and your proxies aren't too flagged.

Cancels

  • Walmart cancels very heavily and frequently.

  • Cancels are based on either the bot checkout flow or order history to an address.

  • Walmart recently has cracked down very hard on shipping multiples to the same address. It would be best to use a few unique addresses if possible (this means an actual unique address).
