Release Methods

  • Nike typically uses three forms of release methods for their product launches.

    • DAN

    • LEO

    • FLOW

  • You can find out which release method will be used for a shoe by checking that SKU in the #nike-us or #nike-desktop channels in Discord.

DAN

  • Draw system. This release method is a raffle release system that gives you about 10 minutes generally to enter.

  • Requires phone verified accounts to enter.

  • After the entry period is over, winners will slowly start to be selected and automatically have their purchase completed. Nike will typically notify you of the draw results with a notification indicating whether you won or lost.

  • If you win a draw, your purchase will be completed automatically.

  • Does not allow for reentry for a different size if your entry was not successful.

  • Typically used for most releases now on SNKRS.

LEO

  • LEO (Let Everyone Order) is a hybrid of sorts of both a first come first serve and raffle release method.

  • Requires phone verified accounts to enter.

  • After entering a LEO release, Nike will place your account into a queue with the chance to be selected to purchase once they allow purchases to go begin.

  • Nike typically begins to select winners after the 2 minute mark, meaning you will want all of your accounts to be entered in before that.

  • If your account was selected, then Nike will automatically complete the purchase for you using the information that you entered. If you are not selected, you will be given a message saying that size is out of stock.

  • Not used as much for SNKRS drops anymore, but commonly used for desktop/Nike app drops.

FLOW

  • FLOW is a pure first come first serve system.

  • There is no raffle aspect to this, and whoever submits their information in first, will have the opportunity to successfully complete a purchase.

  • Nike almost never uses this release method for initial releases. The most common times it would be used is either an Exclusive Access drop, surprise restock event or random leftover stock on desktop/app.

  • Highly recommended not to use accounts that are used to enter LEO/DAN drops. Running FLOW on accounts often will get them flagged. Low quality accounts work just fine and do not need to be phone verified.

Profiles

Name

  • Random first, real last name

  • Random first, random last name

  • Name used when the account was first registered

  • Recommended not to reuse last name if possible.

Address

  • You will have to be creative with address jigs. Simply adding random letters in various places isn't the best way to jig all of your profile addresses, although you can do it on some profiles.

  • Try to play around with both lines 1 and 2 of your address, and avoiding repeating jigs.

  • Recommended to only run up to 25 accounts per address regardless of jigs. Nike has a good filtering system and success past this point starts to diminish if your jigs aren't very strong. In some cases, people run less than this and hit more than people running higher account to address ratios.

  • Once you have success running up to 25 accounts, feel free to get creative with your jigs and scale up until you find the point in which you stop hitting.

  • Do not not exceed 1 account jig combination per account, as it'll increase your chances of getting filtered out.

Address Line 1

  • For Line 1 of address, try to use methods such as:

    • Misspellings

    • Street Suffixes

    • Random Characters

  • Examples below, if address was 123 Test Street:

    • 123 Test St

    • 123 Tesst Strt

    • 123 Ttest Street

    • 123 Teest Streeet

    • ABC 123 Test St

    • 123 Test Street, North

    • 123 Teest St, Apt 8

    • 123 Test St, House 1

    • 123 DEF Test Street, Unit 5

    • 123 Test Street, Left

  • Street suffix abbreviations can be found here - https://pe.usps.com/text/pub28/28apc_002.htmarrow-up-right

Address Line 2

  • For Line 2 of address, some methods include:

    • Random Line 2 Apartment, Suite, etc., with and without abbreviations

    • Addressing the package towards someone

    • Describing the place of residence

  • Examples of this include:

    • Home, House, Apt, Unit, Suite, Room, Office, etc.

    • Attention Bob Smith

    • c/o Bob Smith

    • House with the Black Honda

    • Third House on the Street

  • Line 2 abbreviations can be found here -https://pe.usps.com/text/pub28/28apc_003.htmarrow-up-right

  • You can also incorporate these into line 1 of your address.

Cards

  • Most cards will work for Nike, including:

    • American Express Business/Employee Cards

    • Amex Extend

    • Capital One Eno (Visa and MC)

    • Privacy (Visa and MC)

    • Revolut

    • Slash

    • Stripe Issuing

    • Tradeshift

  • For VCC, in most cases you should be able to use a mismatched zip code if needed.

  • Recommended to do a 1:1 account to card ratio. Do not reuse cards across profiles as your chances of getting filtered out increase.

Email

  • Email will be your account email.

  • Recommended to not use catchalls for creating accounts, as they don't seem to hit much anymore.

  • Preferred to use Gmails if possible.

Phone Number

  • Random Phone Number with Real Area Code

  • Phone Number registered to account

  • Not confirmed for account phone number to be more beneficial, but in some cases it may help. Some bots use this number by default.

  • UK Phone numbers used for account verification still seem to be hitting consistently.

Matching Shipping and Billing

  • You can use mismatched shipping and billing typically.

  • For some, it may lead to more payment declines, but it does not seem to be an issue for Cap One Eno or Amex cards.

Proxies

  • IP plays a huge role in Nike botting.

  • A proxy/IP may be able to log in and enter for releases, but it may be flagged by Nike already and not allowed to win.

  • If you're just starting out or unsure how to fix your setup, try running a mix of ISP and resis to see which one is able to hit.

ISP

  • ISP work best in terms of getting all of your entries in on time. They also will encounter less errors when entering compared to resis typically. However, they can be more prone to getting filtered out by Nike depending on the range you are using.

  • ISP ranges can and do get flagged by Nike. Just because certain ISP can hit for a period of time, they can eventually get flagged and not allowed to win drops after a period of time.

  • ISP may or may not work well for account logins.

  • You will need to do a lot of experimentation on your end to see if the ISP you have work or not. Providers typically sell ISP from random ranges, and no one can tell you how well those ranges will work for Nike botting.

  • Allows for IP accessing the account to remain consistent, which helps it not to get flagged as easily.

Residential

  • Residential proxies do work for Nike.

  • Recommended to use higher quality residential proxies such as Live if using resis. Many other providers will have a lot of weak proxies in their pool and will struggle to load or stay connected during a drop to enter in on time.

  • Recommended to try resis out if you do not have any ISP that seem to hit for Nike.

  • When logging onto accounts, residential proxies seem to work better than ISP in some cases.

  • Live proxies work for Nike, but do have reported higher data usage.

Account to IP Ratio

  • Recommended to stick to 1:1 account to proxy ratio to avoid being filtered out.

Accounts

Number of Accounts Needed

  • Every single entry you do will require a unique account per entry. This means it is a 1:1 ratio in terms of number of entries per account. For example, if you wanted 100 entries, you would need 100 accounts.

Account Providers

Mobile Verification

  • Nike requires all accounts to be phone verified. Each account must use a unique phone number when verifying them, or it will remove the number off the previous account used and require that one to be verified again.

  • While it is usually recommended to use United States phone numbers when creating, purchasing or verifying accounts, UK phone numbers have been hitting Nike consistently.

Account Activity

  • Nike oftentimes will not let fresh accounts with no history of entering releases win as often.

  • It’s important to try to build activity on the account by entering different releases. I’ve found that more aged accounts that have entered a lot of releases in the past tend to win more often than accounts that are brand new and haven’t entered any drop yet.

  • Some bots and account generation tools allow for activity to be farmed on the account, including viewing stories or browsing the desktop site. While it's not proven to necessarily help increase chances, it some cases it does seem to help some win more.

  • Of course, some accounts are prone to being silently flagged and will never win. This unfortunately is part of SNKRS botting and may require new accounts in that case.

Making Your Own Accounts

  • While making your own accounts can seem like a cost effective solution and puts you in charge of how the accounts were created, you will need to ensure that you took the proper steps when making them.

  • Each account will require a unique email address, phone number for mobile verification, IP address for creation and unique browser cookies. You don’t want any details of the account creation process to be shared between other accounts, or Nike can flag them.

  • Some have utilized AYCD and Kalevala recently to generate accounts with success.

  • Oftentimes, it can be much faster to just purchase accounts from quality providers over generating your own, as it will take both a lot of time and effort, as well as requiring access to the resources needed to make each account as unique as possible.

Quality of Accounts

  • The quality of your accounts will play a big role in whether or not your entries are successful.

  • Even if your billing profiles are set up properly, your entries can still be less effective if the accounts themselves aren’t quality enough for Nike to let win or being entered from a good IP address.

  • It can be difficult to tell whether or not an account is flagged. Oftentimes, it can simply be that you just weren’t lucky enough. Remember that Nike does receive a large amount of entries from many people, both manual users and other botters.

  • Just because you aren’t winning often, this does not mean you need to cycle through new sets of accounts all the time. Sometimes you just need to build up some activity on the accounts before they are able to start hitting more consistently.

Rotating Accounts

  • It is highly recommended to have separate sets of accounts that you can rotate through.

  • While it isn't necessarily confirmed, Nike appears to only let certain accounts win for a certain amount of time before they just can't hit any drops for a while. Some report this to be around 1-2 months.

  • When it looks like your accounts just can't win no matter what, it's a good idea to give the accounts a break for at least 3-4 months and use other accounts to see if those can start hitting.

Account Resets

  • Nike can and sometimes does reset accounts. This is typically done in two forms.

  • The first form will be a password reset on the account.

  • The second form is removing the phone number used for mobile verification and requiring a phone number to be verified with the account again.

Password Reset

  • If Nike resets the password to the account, you would have to log onto the account itself and reset the password through the forgot password option. This would also require email access to that account, whether it be on your catchall or a separate email account.

  • Many providers do not give you access to the emails, so if you don’t have access to the email, the account is practically useless as you can’t reset it.

  • Sometimes, accounts are made with fake Gmail accounts. If your account does get reset and you don't have email access, you can try to make the Gmail account manually and then request a password reset link.

Mobile Verification Reset

  • Mobile verification requires unique phone numbers in order to revive them. When that phone number is reused for another account, the previous account using that phone number would require phone verification again.

Causes of Resets

  • When Nike botting starts to pick up in popularity, Nike tends to flag accounts at a higher rate which will cause more frequent resets. Some possible causes of resets include:

    • The IP address that was used to log in and enter a release was flagged by Nike.

    • The phone number that was used to verify the account was reused on another account.

    • The providers method of creation for the accounts was flagged and caused the accounts to get reset.

    • Using the account to enter multiple regions.

    • Too many logins from different IPs or browsers within a short period of time. Similarly, too many logins on a single IP.

    • Something about the bot gets flagged by Nike, triggering an account reset.

    • Nike sometimes does wide reset waves in general across many accounts that enter certain releases.

Local Vs Server

  • Depending on the bot you are using, running Nike can be very intensive on your computer/server, as headless tasks do not tend to work as well anymore for entering draws.

  • Nike does device fingerprint, meaning the computer you're logging into accounts from and entering releases for, can lead to errors or non-winning accounts.

  • Running more than 100 tasks on headed browsers will typically start to lag a server a lot no matter the specs of it. Non-headless can get away with more, but these tend not to hit as much anymore.

  • The only way to find out how many tasks your computer can handle, is to actually run the tasks you want to and see how well your computer is able to handle it without lagging or crashing, and able to get all accounts in on time.

Local

  • Usually the best option, as it emulates a regular person entering more closely compared to a server.

  • Easier to log into accounts compared to server.

  • Not prone to getting filtered out automatically due to the hardware you're running from.

  • Requires a beefier computer, as entering mass Nike accounts can be very taxing on your computer and will lag it a lot during the entry period.

  • Running Nike bots can be very resource intensive, and makes it more difficult to run sites like Shopify alongside it.

Server

  • Servers do work for some users.

  • Can lead to some difficulty logging in depending on the time of day and the proxies you are using. Some bots allow for logins from other computers and transferring account sessions over to server.

  • Some servers do seem to hit less than others or get filtered out at a higher rate.

  • Easier to scale up setups with server since they have higher specs than some home computers depending on your setup.

  • Frees up your local computer to run other sites like Shopify at the same time.

Start Times

  • Tasks can typically be started 10-15 mins before for DAN/LEO releases.

  • Better to start as early as possible to give tasks time to ensure sessions are ready to go, and computer is able to handle the amount of tasks being ran.

Identifying Causes of Not Winning

  • Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly why you are not winning Nike releases even though your setup seems fine.

  • Nike botting can be very tricky for this reason and can become very expensive if you keep having to purchase new accounts or proxies often to switch different variables up.

Accounts

  • Account itself is simply flagged for some unknown reason, such as being flagged from the bot or IP potentially.

  • Accounts are not "warmed" up. Whether you make or purchase Nike accounts, you will generally need to warm them up by entering releases and emulating activity on them such as watching stories with them before you are able to start winning with those accounts. This is why oftentimes accounts that are aged can see more success than fresh accounts that were just purchased and recently started entering Nike releases.

  • Catchall accounts do not seem to hit much anymore. Highly recommended to use Gmails over catchalls.

  • Accounts seem to have a certain period of time where they can hit somewhat consistently, then long periods of time they will go cold and not hit anything for a while. Be sure to keep this in mind and have separate sets of accounts that you can cycle through when it looks like your accounts have used up all their luck and not hitting for a while.

  • Accounts seem best for 1-2 months before they start to go cold and not hit any drop.

  • It seems best to let accounts rest for 2-4 months if possible once it looks like they can't hit any drops anymore.

IP

  • Proxy could have been flagged by Nike or too many entries from one IP.

  • If Nike does not trust the IP address, then it could also result in that entry being filtered out. If you are using residential proxies this will be harder to control. With ISP proxies, it can be helpful to try another subnet if you are consistently noticing that those proxies are never able to hit releases.

  • Likewise, trying residential proxies over ISP can help if you never seem to be able to hit on ISP.

Address/Profiles

  • Billing profiles may be getting filtered out if addresses are not jigged well enough and easily linked to others.

  • This would generally be the result of not running 1:1 for account to billing profile ratio. Remember to always use a unique address, card and phone number per entry when entering SNKRS releases.

  • You may be running too many accounts to one address. Nike botting is ultimately quality over quantity. If you are running 25 accounts to one address, try cutting it down to 10-15 per address and see if that helps to improve your odds of winning after a few drops.

Computer/Server

  • Some computers seem to hit less than others even when operating on the same accounts, profiles, proxies.

  • If you're not hitting at all on a server, try running on local even if that means cutting down on the amount of tasks you're running.

  • If you can only run on a server, try running on another server if possible.

  • AWS is reported by some to not hit as well and get filtered out more often.

Bot

  • Not all bots can hit Nike well.

  • While some bots like Mek can work well for a FLOW FCFS drop, they really don't work well for anything that gets filtered to some extent such as LEO or DAN drops.

  • Just because a bot can hit a certain region of Nike well, does not mean it can hit all regions well. US uses different bot protection and filtered more heavily than other regions.

Luck

  • Sometimes, you're just not lucky. There are a lot of people entering these drops and depending on stock, you may just not hit.

Declines

  • Declines can sometimes happen when botting.

  • No one knows why these declines happen. It could be from Nike's payment processor rejecting your payment due to an error on their end, or potentially their processor not liking something about your purchase attempt, such as IP or card/address related.

  • Not necessarily needed to swap info after getting a decline. I've personally had accounts hit with the same info on the next drop after getting a decline.

  • Declines often seem to be more bot related. PE for example will return declines far more often than other bots such as Wrath. It could potentially be related to the bot flow getting flagged or just a false positive decline status for a regular L.
