Profiles

Name

  • Random first, real last name

  • Real first, real last name

Address

  • Various methods work, such as:

    • Real Address with no jigs

    • Modifying street suffixes - street to st, etc.

  • Not necessary to jig address for New Balance. They have not cared for duplicate orders (subject to change at any moment).

  • Street suffix abbreviations can be found here - https://pe.usps.com/text/pub28/28apc_002.htmarrow-up-right

Cards

  • Most cards should work for New balance, including:

    • American Express Employee Cards

    • Amex Extend

    • Capital One (Visa only, MasterCard does not work)

    • Hard Cards

    • Revolut

    • Slash

    • Stripe Issuing

    • Tradeshift

  • Some devs recommend to prioritize Visa cards over others, but most cards seem to work fine for NB.

  • New Balance does not restrict checkouts to one per card during a drop. You can checkout more than once on a card.

  • Recommended to use zip code registered to card to avoid declines and potential cancels for billing/fraud concerns.

Email

  • Real emails or catchalls work

  • Not restricted to one checkout per email.

Phone Number

  • Random Phone Number with Real Area Code

Matching Shipping and Billing

  • Recommended to match shipping and billing information to avoid declines and potential cancels.

Duplicates/Checkout Limits

  • New Balance does not typically care for duplicate orders. This is subject to change however as New Balance becomes more popular to bot.

  • In most cases, getting a charge means your order was successfully placed and should ship.

Cancels

  • New Balance does not usually cancel orders placed on initial drop.

  • Sometimes they will send out cancellation emails after hitting, but these oftentimes end up shipping still.

  • Orders placed during restocks may be subjected to a higher chance of cancellation.

Confirmation Emails

  • New Balance often will not send a confirmation email after a successful hit.

  • Be sure to check charges after the drop. A charge typically means that your order was successfully placed and you should get a shipping email later in the day.

  • You can also check the status of your order here by entering your order number, billing last name and shipping zip code. You will need to grab your order number from your bot's webhook if possible. https://www.newbalance.com/order-status/arrow-up-right

Proxies

Running Tasks

  • ISP proxies work best since they are faster than residential.

  • Residential proxies work, but are slower and not as recommended to use. Since most bots bypass queue right away, you'll want to have tasks be as fast as possible.

Task to Proxy Ratio

  • ISP - one task per proxy. Running more tasks on an IP makes for a higher chance for the proxy to get flagged.

  • Residential - minimum of 3-5 proxies per task. Residential proxies are not as reliable or stable as ISP are, so you want to allow them to rotate as needed if they are dead or banned.

Harvesting Shape Cookies

  • Residential proxies will often work better for harvesting valid Shape cookies needed to cart/checkout.

  • ISP proxies will often produce invalid shape cookies depending on your machine, harvester being used, etc.

Queue

  • New Balance currently utilizes the Queue-It queue system. This queue will go up generally around 30 minutes before a drop.

  • Bots that work for New Balance have queue bypasses implemented to allow tasks to checkout right when the drop starts.

  • Bots that support New Balance do not require a captcha to be solved.

Shape Cookies

  • New Balance uses Shape for their antibot protection like Target.

  • Shape cookies are required for both carting items and for checking out.

  • Some bots handle checkout cookies already, but will require you to generate your own shape cookies for carting.

Harvesting Cookies

  • Being able to harvest a valid Shape cookie depends on a few factors, such as:

    • Machine (Home PC vs Server)

    • IP Address

    • Browser

    • Bot Harvester

  • Generating a cookie does not mean that it is good to go for a drop. You can generate cookies and have some or all be invalid for actually carting items on their site.

  • Shape cookies are quality over quantity. Having 100 shape cookies that are valid is better than having 1000 shape cookies that will all get burned up and cart nothing.

Machine

  • Servers often do not work as well to generate valid Shape cookies. This will depend on the type of server you are using however.

  • Your local home PC often works better to generate valid cookies.

  • If you're running tasks on a server, you can harvest Shape cookies locally if you are struggling to do so on a server and copy/transfer them over to your bot on server.

IP Address

Browser

  • The type of browser you use plays a big role in generating cookies.

  • Browsers that can harvest cookies include Brave, Chrome, Edge.

  • Lately, Brave browser has been working better to generate cookies - https://brave.com/arrow-up-right. Brave is similar to Chrome since it is based on Chromium and allows for the same extensions to be used.

  • Be sure to try a mix of browsers and see which one can generate quality cookies better. You do not necessarily have to use one specific browser only, especially if it is not working for you.

Bot Harvester

  • Like a Gmail reCAPTCHA harvester, the harvester in bot or the extension itself does matter when generating cookies.

  • Oftentimes this is out of your control as a user, so you will want to focus on what you can control - machine, IP and Browser.

Auto vs Manually Harvesting

  • Running autogen harvesters for Shape sometimes does not work as well.

  • Manually harvesting cookies is possible with extensions or in-bot harvesters.

  • If you're struggling to generate quality cookies that can be used for carting, try manually harvesting cookies instead.

  • Actions such as clicking, zooming, scrolling, highlighting items, etc. on a website, helps to seem more "human" and can help to generate more valid cookies.

How to Generate Cookies

  1. You will want to first ensure you have set up the BP Proxy Switcher extension to rotate your IP address while harvesting (see extension above).

  2. Add your residential or preferred proxies to be used for generating. Set the extension to automatically rotate proxy after every 30 seconds.

  3. Select any size and then click add to cart. You should see the cookies harvested count go up if it was successful.

  4. Try to do 5-10 cookies per IP, then after it refreshes every 30 seconds, repeat until you have the number of cookies you need.

  • If you're having trouble generating cookies, try changing up your setup to a few of the mentioned items above.

  • This includes harvesting locally instead of on server, trying different proxies, changing the browser used to harvest, and generating manually instead of automatically.

Number of Cookies Required

  • Tasks will require at a minimum 1-2 cookies per task.

  • This assumes that all of your Shape cookies are valid. Ideally, you'll want to have more made for backup in case some of your cookies are no good come drop time.

  • Shape cookies do not last forever and do expire after an unknown period of time.

  • Hayha recommends to generate cookies 2-3 hours before the drop, but closer to the drop time is preferred.

Testing Cookies

  • You can test cookies before a drop to ensure they are valid and able to cart.

  • Antibot security typically increases once queue is up, so this would be the best time to test if possible before a drop.

  • Be sure to use a fake test profile when testing on a random item.

  • If you see cookies harvested being ran down immediately, that means the cookie is not high enough quality to cart.

Bot Guides

Start Times

  • Start times for tasks will vary depending on the bot and mode you're using.

Hayha

  • Browser mode can be started 30 minutes before. Tasks should get to a status that says Waiting with a countdown to drop time if you have valid Shape cookies harvested.

  • Hayha will lock API mode until a few mins before drop, but you can start tasks 10 minutes before. It will say error module locked until they unlock it.

KSR

  • 10-20 minutes before drop

Delays

  • Hayha recommends a delay of 5000 for both monitor and endpoint delay.

Task Limits

  • Bot devs will typically limit the amount of tasks that can be ran to preserve the module and to prevent the site from being totally dead.

  • Hayha task limits will be provided in their Discord around drop time. Typically this will start out at 25 browser mode tasks and API at 10 tasks. These are subject to change however, as recently browser has allowed up to 50 while API varies.

  • KSR task limit also varies, but has been limited to 100 recently.

Restocks

  • New Balance does restock a few pairs after a drop is over.

  • Restocks for an initial drop have been reported to be around 12:45 PM ET.

  • Shape cookies are still required for carting when running restocks, but shape security will be a lot lower and should be easier to generate quality cookies.
