Note that if you choose to follow the video, make sure you setup a .com domain ideally and choose a legitimate sounding name instead of a .club domain selected in the video.
3. You will then need to select the domain type you would like to use. I would personally recommend a more professional domain like .com (my preferred choice) or .net.
4. Search for the domain you would like to create. For example, if I wanted to make my domain - abadomain.com, I will just search for abadomain as shown below.
I would advise to make more of a professional sounding catchall domain. Ideally your catchall should not scream reseller or make it look like an obvious reseller catchall domain. For example, abasneaks.com or even abadomain.com are not catchalls that I would personally use.
You don’t need to mess with any of the default options chosen. The following should be set:
Select Auto-Renew if you would like the domain to automatically renew each year.
WhoisGuard you can just enable since it’s free.
PremiumDNS is not needed and does not need to be enabled.
7. Head to checkout and complete payment for the domain of your choice.
If it is your first time creating a catchall domain, you can try to use the discount code WELCOME30
If that discount code does not work, then you can look on the https://www.namecheap.com/ website home page and see if there are any active discount codes available.
11. Fill in your personal email that you want all emails from that catchall domain to be forwarded to as shown below. Then click the green checkmark to save.
12. Your domain is now set up and ready to go. You can test it out by sending any email to your catchall domain. In the case of mine, I can send a test email to hello123@abadomain.com and it will forward the email to the email address I selected when forwarding.
Ideally it’s better to not send an email from the one you selected for forwarding as it can cause delivery issues sometimes. Try using another email address to send the test email if possible.
