4. See if the domain you have searched for is available. If it is, you will have to select the domain type. I would recommend to use a .com for you catchall domain.
17. Click Add once you have filled the alias email and recipient email in as pictured above.
18. Your catchall domain is now successfully configured. Remember to test to see if it works by sending a message to that catchall domain and see if it properly forwards to the email you sent it to. Try to use a different email to send the test email other than the one that will be receiving the forwarded email from the domain for best results.
Transferring an Existing Catchall Domain
If you have an existing catchall from Namecheap or some other provider that you want to transfer over, you can initiate a transfer process from Google to do so.
4. You will need to find the authorization code from your current catchall provider before you can complete the transfer process. Before you can do this, you will need to unlock your domain. Google provides instructions here for how to do this. A walkthrough is also shown in the next couple of steps.
10. Select a transfer reason. You can give any reason you want and leave an optional comment. Click send code afterwards. This will send a code to the email address associated with your Namecheap/catchall domain.
12. Enter the authorization code into Google Domains as shown in step 3. Make sure to click the refresh option before entering your authorization code if you haven't done so after unlocking it on Namecheap.
13. Choose whether or not you want to import your DNS settings or not. I would advise to just select the default recommend option to copy and let Google manage your DNS settings.
16. The transfer process of your domain will begin. Give it some time to finish processing. It may take up to a week for the transfer process to complete.
22. Click Add once you have filled the alias email and recipient email in as pictured above.
23. Your catchall domain is now successfully configured. Remember to test to see if it works by sending a message to that catchall domain and see if it properly forwards to the email you sent it to.
