We will be answering some questions along the way: What is a SNKRS cam drop, What does it look like, How do manual users ensure success, Are bot supported?
What is a SNKRS cam drop?
This type of drop requires you to look for an image that is connected to the shoe that is releasing. Once you find the image and the drop is live, you open up your camera settings from inside the SNKRS app and point it towards the image provided.
What does it look like?
Initially it will load as a "hunt" and we will post it in #live-drop-info to notify you
After you open your SNKRS app, you'll be greeted with the product on the homepage.
From here you scroll down to open the camera for the image we provided you with prior to the drop.
You click on the prompt here
You then click on to start looking and your camera should open up.
You then present your camera with the image we provide you with prior to the drop.
If the image is correct, the shoe will pop up on the screen. You then click on "Unlock Now"
Once you are given access, you are able to buy the shoe.
How do manual users ensure success?
You can ensure success by having the following checklist:
Keeping your SNKRS app up to date
Ensuring all of your information is already saved on your SNKRS app ( Credit card, Address, Shoe size)
Ensuring you keep notifications on for #staff-important, #live-drop-info and #announcements at the very least. We tend to link these drops in #live-drop-info for faster manual access.
Being persistent when the drop is live ( expect errors and slow loading times )
Have the image on another device PRIOR to the drop.
