Verifying ISP

1) Head to https://ipinfo.io/arrow-up-right.

2) Enter the IP address only into the search field as shown below. Do not include the port, username and password if applicable

3) You can verify if the proxy is an ISP proxy or not by viewing the results of the search

Oxylab Residentials

Proxy Structure

An Oxylab proxy can have the following structure:

gate:port:user:pass

Where:

gate: [country_code].[pool].oxylabs.io

port:

static proxies: varies based on city/country. 10000 - 49999 for random gateway, 10001-19999 for US, 30001-39999 for Canada, etc.

rotating proxies: varies based on city or country. 7777 for random gateway, 10000 for US, 30000 for Canada, etc.

user: username given to you from provider. It can be either of the two below.

1) Random string; 0-9, A-z characters are supported.

2) customer-USERNAME-cc-country-city-city-sessid-abcde12345

Or

customer-USERNAME-asn-[asn#]-sessid-abcde12345

The different fields in the proxy are comprised of the following below:

countryTwo letter country code.cityOptional. Adds city name. For example, cc-gb-city-london. For a city with more than 2 words, replace space with _, for example, city-st_petersburg or city-rio_de_janeiro.asn#Random 1-5 digit numbersessidSession ID. Random string; 0-9, A-z characters are supported.passPassword given to you from provider.

Alternative Method

1) Open either command prompt or terminal depending on if you're using Windows or Mac.

Click the Windows logo + R on your keyboard, then type in cmd and press enter.

2) Enter the following command in the command line:

ping pr.oxylabs.io

(replace pr.oxylabs.io with the domain of the proxy you are testing

If you see a reference to Oxylabs, geo0node, geo6node, etc. appear where the arrow is pointing to, then the proxy you are testing is from Oxylabs.

NetNut Residentials

NetNut resis will almost always have a port number of 33128.

A NetNut resi can have the following structure:

Static

server:port:user:pass

Where:

server: [country_code]-s[number].netnut.io

port: 33128

user: username!a[number from 1 to 256]

pass: password from provider

Example

If your proxy was:

Smart Residentials

A Smart residential proxy can have the following structure:

static proxies: varies based on city/country. 10001-29999 for US, 20001-29999 for Canada, etc.

user: username given to you from provider

pass: password given to you from provider
